I am feeling a bit better today. Unpleasant realities still exist, but my house is warm on a rainy night and there are good things cooking (teriyaki chicken and roasted sweet potatoes and garlicky greens for dinner, honey whole wheat bread now baking, a pot of mushroom barley soup on the stove for tomorrow).
