Hi,

As far as sublets go, I've been restricting my search to places available for ~2 months, since I think that's about the minimum amount of time I'll need to get settled and find a job and find a permanent living space before the sublet is up. (I'm not tied to the Bay Area in a concrete way yet.) I wouldn't entirely write it off, but if you're set on having a subletter, it'd be best to keep looking.
