Calling all bakers -- HELP! HELP!!

Oh God, oh Goddess, what was I thinking? A Twinkie Birthday Cake for the four fine birthday ladies, yes, fine, but why did I ever promise deedeebythebay and cyan_blue that it would be tiered and covered in multi-colored fondant?

I did make it.

Words fail me.

All I can say is that if this were my birthday cake -- or at least, my ONLY birthday cake -- I might not see it as a good omen for the future.

And -- now here's the real crisis -- Kimberly is unable to make cake(s) for tomorrow's gathering. This potentially COULD be it.

I call upon those of you with spatulas, baking pans and better taste than I have to come to the aid of the party.

I shall post photos, but not until I've unveiled the thing IRL.

Huh. Well. I was going to make bread or cookies, but maybe now I'll bake a cake in my brand new oven! :)

Happy to oblige! In fact, I'm having fun, since I made 3 times the batter the recipe called for. So, there's a nice big cake for tomorrow, and a bonus cake for me! I hope you all like it! :)
