The guy is 78 years old. The spin doctors still seem to be treating this as a minor accident that could have happened to any [careless untrained gun-toting fucktard of a] quail hunter, but hey -- this guy could die, and the fucktard is our Vice President.
In my neck of the legal woods, the difference between "oops, that wasn't a quail" and criminal involuntary manslaughter lies in such factors as the degree of recklessness involved and the possibility of intoxication. Interesting, isn't it, that Cheney's people held off on contacting authorities for at least enough time for the latter to be unmeasurable...
