The last few days have been a whirlwind, but a good one.

Celebrated Chanukah with dear friends Friday night. New Years Eve at the Choirloft was another great evening. What's not to like about spending New Years Eve with all of my loves and closest friends? much less toasting the new year in a hot tub filled with some of my favorite people? Today kamtraub and I drove down to Soquel for a dinner at Shadowbrook with his cousins while the BSY family entertained choirboypuppy at Cards and Conversation. We didn't stay long at C&C upon our return -- sleep deprivation and a day of driving in the rain had caught up to us by then -- but we got to hang out for awhile with folks that we hadn't seen yet over the holidays, and to wish them a happy new year.

In the midst of the madness, the inimitable pittspilot came by this morning to take family photos of us. *blows kisses at pittspilot*
