Seeking house/cat/dogsitters

I would like to make a list of reliable people who would be willing to house/cat/dogsit at my place for short and long periods this summer. I've got work-related travel coming up, probably in a few weeks, and a bunch of weekend trips that I'd like to schedule.

If you're on my friendslist, you've read about my dogs....uh...well, the good news is that they haven't escaped from the new yard in Hayward except once, when Spirit broke through the back fence to meet the dog who lives behind us. And the two dogs, and the two cats as well, are SO sweet and gentle. Really. Spirit is a large Samoyed/Chow/Golden Retriever/who-knows mix and Andy is a goofy little American Eskimo Dog. They have indoor/outdoor access during the day and mainly need water, food, abundant love, maybe a trip to the dog park (the dogs, not the cats) and a lap or laps to shed on in the evening.

The house is in Hayward near the 238/580 interchange, on a bus route to both Bayfair and Hayward BART. Two bedrooms (one with comfy king bed), one bath (Jacuzzi tub), a big grassy fenced backyard with barbecue grill and hot tub (coming next week), wireless internet access.

I'm willing to pay $25/night for stays of 1-3 days and to negotiate for longer stays.

I wouldn't mind. The only complication is that I live in Sacramento, so I'd have to work it out around getting between here and there. But let me know if you need somebody and I can see what I can do to work it out.
