I'm a sucker for White Christmas.

I grew up near Jimmy Stewart's hometown, so "It's A Wonderful Life" has a special place in my heart.

I can't let the holidays go by without watching "A Christmas Carol" at least once. The George C. Scott version used to be my favorite, but I've extremely fond of the Patrick Stewart version.

I got to see Patrick Stewart do that LIVE as a one-man show when I was in college. *swoon* Loved being an Usher for Arts and Lectures...
got cassette tapes autographed for my mom - which she lent to another teacher, who never gave them back. *grump*

A Christmas Carol. Most any version, but my absolute favorite is the musical version, "Scrooge", with Albert Finney because we get the whole Scrooge in Hell scene, and we get Alec Guinness as a Marley's Ghost for whom "flies around the room" could apply in a number of ways. And production numbers, the best of which ("Thank You Very Much") *had* to have been what Monty Python was parodying when they produced the "Every Sperm is Sacred" number for "Meaning of Life".

Nothing but good!

I agree...this is my favorite holiday film as well! Don't forget the whole scene with the Spirit of Christmas Present where all his not-so-subtle insults mostly fly over Scrooge's head ;)

For sheer campiness, that one about Santa vs the Martians is a hoot... ;)

Love Actually, with Die Hard a close second.

A Christmas Story!!! Hands down my all time favorite. I watch it at least a few times every year. A house in our neighborhood has the infamous leg lamp in their window and I am sadly envious.

I've seen a smaller version of the leg lamp at Rite-Aid in the decorations aisle for around $20 or $30.

Bad Santa has helped me greatly through the last three holiday seasons.

Two thumbs up for "Emmet Otter's Jug Band Christmas," though I haven't watched it in years.
